What is EUR‑Lex?

EUR‑Lex is a repository operated by the Publications Office of the European Union, providing official and comprehensive access to EU legal documents. It is designed to search and list legal documents, but not for searching and instantly displaying multilingual term, phrase or fuzzy matches from specific segments in those documents.

What is IATE?

The Interactive Terminology for Europe (IATE) is the interinstitutional terminology database of the European Union. It is designed to support the multilingual drafting of EU legal texts. IATE is maintained and constantly updated by EU terminologists with standardised terminology.
