Symptom
The Juremy window disappeared.
Cause: Juremy window was closed
Fix: click the Juremy.com Browser
button (or its icon form) from the translation View ribbon.
Cause: Trados was restarted after floating out the Juremy window
Due to a Trados bug, a floated-out window could stay invisible after Trados was restarted.
Fix: slightly jiggle the Trados window, for example resize it, or collapse it to the tray and restore it. This should make invisible floated-out windows to appear.
The Juremy header with the Login/Logout button disappeared
Cause: the header was moved to the bottom of the Juremy window
In Trados integration mode, to save screen estate the header is moved to the bottom of the window after logging in.
Fix: please scroll down to the bottom of the Juremy window to find the header.
The query editor box disappeared
Cause: Compact View mode might be turned on
In Trados integration mode or when the Compact View mode is enabled in the bottom option bar, the query editor box is collapsed.
Fix: to edit the content, either click the query text fragment shown as plan text to allow temporary editing, or turn the Compact View mode off from the bottom bar, or click the small black triangle to the left of the search inputs to keep the query editor box permanently open.
Trados 2021 shows error dialog “Unexpected exception when initializing view part Juremy.com Browser”
Cause: Trados 2021 version from before Service Release 2 (SR2)
According to the Trados 2021 SR2 release notes , the WebView component that Juremy depends on is available from the SR2 version.
Fix: please update Trados 2021 past SR2. You might be able to download Trados 2021 SR2 after logging in to your RWS account.
Alternative fix: please follow below instructions to copy the Microsoft WebView2 dlls.
-
Install the WebView runtime from Microsoft, as described in the manual.
Install the Microsoft WebView2 component , as earlier Studio versions do not include WebView2 (“Evergreen Bootstrapper” is a good choice). Note that in case you have a recent Windows version, the WebView2 runtime might already be installed.
-
Copy the WebView2 client dlls to the relevant Trados folder: Please download the zipfile WebView2_1070550.zip , unzip it, and copy the 3 dll files to the
C:\Program Files (x86)\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\Studio16
directory. This might need administrator rights. -
Restart Trados. The Juremy plugin should now work as expected.
